CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS prides itself on having qualified and CARING COACHES ! Kids are first at CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS ! Our programs are based on the belief of quality programming at all levels. We are dedicated at doing our best to provide the children who take part in our programs with a positive quality experience !

CHRISTINE PARK

Christine is the BUSINESS MANAGER & the RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS MANAGER. She is responsible for all day-to-day affairs of this program at CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS.

Christine is an experienced Programs Manager with a lengthy gymnastics background. She is an N.C.C.P. Level 2 Certified Coach and also has extensive experience in Cheerleading.

Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to our club's largest program. She has a Physical Education Degree from the University of Alberta.

She is also the owner of ParkPlace Weddings, a private company that coordinates/organizes weddings.Christine is a full-time employee of CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS !

WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENTAL & COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS
Our Coaching Team is composed of FOUR FULL-TIME CAREER COACHES and our Developmental & Competitive Programs only have 40 spots available for the year 2009-2010 !

VALERIE OUDIN & MICHEL ARSENAULT

     VALERIE OUDIN, ChPC: Co-founder of CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS, Edmonton, Alberta. Certified N.C.C.P. Level 4 (class of 1994). 

Expert coach on beam, floor, choreography & artistic preparation. Valérie has had athletes on the National Team since 1987 and represented Canada internationally on several occasions. Coach of Natasha Hallett, Marleen Lavoie, Amanda Gering, Nicole Heikkila, Miranda Meyer and Kristin Klanrenbach. Coach at the 1995 PAN-AMERICAN GAMES (Mar Del Plata, Argentina), at the 1995 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS (Sabae, Japan), at the 2002 PACIFIC ALLIANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS (Vancouver, Canada), 2009 Maribor WORLD CUP & 2009 DTB WORLD CUP. 

L.E.A.P. Program co-author, Alberta L.E.A.P. Provincial Chief-Evaluator. Member of the G.C.G. Canadian Provincial Program Working Group. Alberta/G.C.G. Pre-Novice Liaison.Valérie is also a sought-after floor routine choreographer for gymnasts of all levels across Canada.


     MICHEL ARSENAULT, ChPC: Co-founder of CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS, Edmonton, Alberta. Certified N.C.C.P. Level 4 (class of 1992).

          Expert coach on vault, bars & floor. Michel has had athletes on the National Team since 1987 and represented Canada internationally on several occasions. Coach of Natasha Hallett, Marleen Lavoie, Amanda Gering, Nicole Heikkila, Miranda Meyer and Kristin Klarenbach. Coach at the 1990 GOODWILL GAMES (Seattle, USA), at the 1992 OLYMPIC GAMES (Barcelona, Spain). Master Coach for the Champions Gymnastics Coaching Academy & the National Coaching Institute (Calgary).  

          L.E.A.P. Program author, Alberta L.E.A.P. Provincial Chief-Evaluator & Aspiration Sub-Committee Chairperson (Alberta Gymnastics Federation). Michel is also a sought-after speaker for coaching courses, clinics, conferences, symposiums and seminars all across Canada.

SARA ARSENAULT:
Certified Level 2, Sara has been involved in gymnastics since being born to Valérie and Michel ! Sara did gymnastics at the Recreational level for many years and was first in a gym at the tender age of two days old !
Sara is passionate about gymnastics and is committed to the development of proper basics and of correct technique. Sara's life has literally been surrounded by gymnastics for 20 years and she shows a determination and passion for her athletes that is quite special. She is mentored by her parents and implements the Champions Gymnastics Training Program for Developmental and Competitive gymnasts.
